Go Out at Night

There seems to be some debate
about whether or not night has come,
and whether or not anything can be done
to hasten the coming of a new day.

Forgive me if I don't understand
and shake my head in disbelief.

Ever since I spent time
wandering in the wilderness,
my soul won't tolerate me
overindulging in rationality.

Allow the night to fall on you.
The darkness is where possibility dwells.

Get to know the real you
by looking into the night sky.

I often think that the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day.
