Transforming Energies

I am feeling confrontational.

Is this my warrior energy,
or am I just weary
and looking for a fight?

I take a deep breath in,
then
a long,
slow
breath
out.

I do this ten or twenty times,
until space opens around my forehead.

I begin to wonder why breathing
so easily changes my mood.

Someday all resistance will leave me,
and picking a fight won’t change a thing.
Maybe a little more resistance is necessary
to finally compromise my defenses.

Something stirs within me
every time I learn of a dam break.

Change means resistance, and resistance means transformation and igniting energies.
