Go Beyond

...the limits of your knowing.

A good school
and a great teacher
can no doubt show us
the problem and the solution
through the figurative mirror
of human knowledge.

Most of us
do learn to think,
and eventually some of us
endeavor to go much further.
With just a bit of luck
we may stumble and fall
into a deeper knowing
which will then carry us
all the way to our end.

Though we may still feel lost
when peering into that mirror,
reflected is the obvious story,
never who we truly are.

For substantive answers
we must always go beyond.
