Healing Modalities

...are like strings on a guitar.

There are so many
healing modalities
with deep, deep roots
in human experience,
and I would suggest also
in the understanding
of human pain.

Some modalities may work
much better than others,
but the ones which heal us
as we stumble along
the pathway called life
will become our favorites,
and also the high notes
in the evangelical songs
we sing to the world.
