Tapestry

Tapestry

Let us weave together.

I believe you and I
have come here today
to dust the cover
then read together
a book entitled
Our Lives.

Pray tell me
why you think we come,
our spirits taking bodily form,
if not to be told
the very human story
about who we are
and the love flowing
through everything?

So let us lift up our souls
as we lift up this book
and rejoice in discovering
the sacred words
which weave our lives
into a magnificent tapestry.

My life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue,
an everlasting vision of the ever changing view.
