Giving Myself
...to love unconditionally.
I fall in love
so easily
with an idea,
a piece of music,
or an image
and a way
of seeing things.
Yet I struggle
to love my life
and the people in it.
It takes me awhile
to fall for a friend,
a cute little baby,
or a better idea.
But I have a soul,
and so eventually
I am able let go,
giving myself over
to unconditional love.
The ultimate lesson all of us have to learn is unconditional love,
which includes not only others but ourselves as well.
