With No Wind

With No Wind

...we must wait.

Hoping for the answer,
Now,
I ask the wind,
When?

But the wind is silent.
Not even a blade of grass
betrays the stillness.

Friends,
now's the time for questions
with no expectation of an answer.

Now's the time to let go
of what's holding on to you.

Now's the time to do
no more than needs doing.

The wind will return soon enough.

Now
is
the
time
to
w-a-i-t.

We must let go of the life we have planned,
so as to accept the one that is waiting for us.
~ Joseph Campbell
