Little Bitty Me

...struggling toward self-awareness...

Discovering who we are
and what we're here to do
is the spiritual project
of our lifetime.

By this point I know,
I'm a little bit nomadic,
a little bit stubborn,
a little more creative
as I struggle to have fun.

I am a little bit tired
having spent so much time
trying to be heroic.

But I'm also a little bit wiser
for all the roles I've tried on.

I'm a little bit afraid,
and even more courageous.

I worry a little,
but prefer to search
for those bits of cheer
dropped by other people.

I'm a little bit sad
this will all come to an end.

Yet I'm also a bit curious
about what's out there,
waiting for little bitty me.
