The Troublemakers

The Troublemakers

...you, me, everyone...

How about a light prayer
to start off this day
and to deliver my soul,
in from the heavy atmosphere
and the rocky road it traversed
to be here with me‽

Friends,
let's go to the pub!

I'll buy everyone a beer
if you'll be sure to tease me
when I'm too serious.

Help me to see this world
through the eyes of the divine.

And when you notice me
tight-lipped with breath held,
remind me that all's well
and there are no wrongs
I alone must right.

Maybe you can buy a round
and we'll declare ourselves
the troublemakers!

A society that gets rid of all its troublemakers goes downhill.
~ Robert A. Heinlein
