Bridge Builder

I find no peace in chasing after answers.
Songs are a better way of soothing my soul.

In school I worried endlessly about run-on sentences
and lots of things I can no longer remember.

Where do I add the comma?
Should I start a new paragraph?

But then I started to notice circles.
Everything is circular,
especially our desires.

It’s now Spring,
and I’m watching our world awaken.
We’re all hungry for light and warmth.
The time has come to begin again.

I was born here and given a task,
and so were you.
I came to build bridges.

Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.
