Deliver Me the Ocean

I can’t hold them off forever.
Tears, big and salty,
will surely come.

I will rejoice that day,
the pounding waves of my life
at last deliver me the ocean.

Crying is cleansing. There’s a reason for tears, happiness or sadness.
