Field Theory
Energy
surrounds me
then confounds me.
It comes the nearest as I wake,
and in this lucid state my dreams
blend past into present,
illuminating my reality.
This energy of Being,
more distant in the daytime,
fills me with animating light
eager to create the words
you see on this page,
as I dissolve into awe.
