Primal Wilderness

Take it as a good sign
when your resistance is low.

Take it as a good sign
when you leave work unfinished.

Take it as a good sign
when you’ve accepted pain, uncertainty,
and ongoing struggle as part of your life.

There’s much to celebrate in each new day
when you’ve already surrendered your will
to the mystery called death.

Your life becomes easier and
relationships less transactional,
when you begin to turn from the noise
and submit to the silence.

There in the primal wilderness
you’ll find your soul waiting impatiently,
wondering what kept you so long.

The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.
