Let it flow.

I sit and listen
as the poet performs his words
while mine sit lifelessly
on this lonely page.

I want to ask him,
Do you write a poem daily?
Of course it doesn't matter.
It truly doesn't.

The prophets tell us
everyone is a poet,
but not every word
written or spoken
is poetry.

Just now
a voice shouts,
Shut up!
Another one calls,
I hear you.
And another adds,
The pauses are the poetry.

So let me ask you,
How do you share your poetry?
