Body & Soul

Body & Soul

A perfect union.

Stretching becomes painful
when we need it most.

There are those among us
who are more soul than body.
But for the rest of us
transitioning more slowly,
we must find ways to stretch
those parts too inflexible
to allow the expansiveness of soul
inform our every movement.

There are no soulless beings,
only bodies slowly opening
to the souls within them.

You use a glass mirror to see your face;
you use works of art to see your soul.
George Bernard Shaw
