All One

All One

A testament to the unity of origins.

It's all one,
the collapsing wave,
the roaring engine,
the sun-baked rock,
the clap of thunder
right after the lightning,
and now the darkness.

Oh the relief
as I draw a deep breath!
Ah the peace
as I exhale my fear!

Me,
a small boat,
the ocean,
we each sway
back and forth,
back and forth,
back and forth,
until we become
one.

The ocean is a mighty harmonist.
William Wordsworth
