Inevitability

Not just for death and taxes.

Change
is the only inevitability.
Everything else
is just piggybacking,
along for the inevitable ride.

Changing your mind
is as inevitable
as not changing it.

Doing something
is as inevitable
as not doing it.

Waking
is as inevitable
as refusing to wake.

Only a lack of imagination
sees inevitability as a one-way street.
So be sure to look both ways
before crossing inevitability.
