Grace

Grace

...is felt in timeless gratitude.

A morning prayer
for Grace -
that conscious letting go
into the weightless feeling
of being lovingly held,
which seems to arrive so easily
in those vast spaces
glimpsed from mountain tops
and along the ocean shore.

Grace requires stillness,
deep and easy breathing.

Grace fills the emptiness,
satisfying my needing.

Grace is the forgiveness
I struggle to offer.

Grace is knowing
all is as it should be.

Grace is accepting
a beginning without end.

Let us come to Grace
by way of quiet invitation
into an open mind
and a surrendered heart.

Grace is everywhere as an active orientation
of all created reality toward God.
