Harmony

...precedes all creation.

I'm calling off the search.
My personal trips to odd ends
of our amazing planet
yield little beyond my humble awe
for the sheer size and beauty
of the fierce and gentle landscapes
continuing to change and evolve
as they slowly give birth
to ever newer forms of life.

Now comes the time for me
to simply be and to discover
my own deeper belonging
in a community called life,
where competition fades,
taking with it the struggle
to live forever singularly,
thus allowing the possibility
of an eternal life beyond
the grasp of my individuality.
