Stars Are the Light
...to see into and beyond.
The ease and boredom
of a privileged life
makes any suffering
seem so much worse
than what we witness
in the suffering of those
with so much less.
Could it be because
we can now account
for the great many forces
moving heaven and earth,
and have given explanation
to everything demanding
to remain a mystery
that our imagination withers
and we are unable to see
all suffering as one?
