Winter Weather
Winter Weather
...returns.
This early season snow
falls like a heavy hand
upon my shoulder,
urging me to slow down.
Somewhere it's sunny
and a warm breeze
stirs up energy
in all the busy people.
Here the Earth sleeps
and a cold wind
slows the breath
in all the drowsy people.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
and miles to go before I sleep.
