Infinite Hope
Infinite Hope
...is at the root of creation.
Somehow your hope got broken
and the tools you now own
seem useless to create the spark
that can ignite your soul anew.
At first I cried
and then I laughed
when all my solutions
only hastened the outcomes
I sought to avoid.
You must know powerlessness
before discovering your real power.
And you must lose faith
before hope has any meaning
rooted in a true faith.
I cannot go around
the journey called my life,
yet I can and will awaken
to the beauty and mystery
