Let's call it a conversation.
There's a bit o' gold
in these and other words
I share with you.
Let's call it a conversation,
but maybe just between us
and perhaps anyone else
who might stumble along.
Long before anyone cared
enough to write it down,
everyone and everything
engaged in dialog.
And though many of us
converse to remember,
some do so to forget.
While others spend life
much too distracted
to say anything at all.
Believe it or not,
I also like to listen.
Silence is a vacuum.
Earth is a noisy place.
