Understanding Avenue
...leads you further into unknowing.
Oh how quickly
I can forget
the bitter truth
contained in the pain
I'd love to deny.
Each and every day
I make my way down
that long and winding road
called Understanding Avenue,
only to be led further,
and still further way,
from the absolute answers
I've so long desired.
For me peace comes
deep within the wilderness
where it's easy to release
my desire to comprehend,
and easier to encounter God
in my unknowing.
The clearest way into the Universe
is through a forest wilderness.
