Becoming Speechless

Becoming Speechless

...makes you a plaintiff.

I believe everyone here with us
has somehow stumbled
into a transcendent dimension
where nouns and adjectives
have lost their meanings,
and the only relevant terms
are being and loving.

You don't have to ask
someone to tell the story
about their journey through
the thin veil separating worlds.

They will offer it
to everyone and everything
on their own time,
and in their own ways.

You'll one day believe the truth
inherent in their life experience
when you see it beautifully manifest
in their simple, loving acts.

Becoming speechless
will make you a plaintiff
to all those who would deny
their own sublime encounters.

In this day the breeze of God is wafted,
and His Spirit hath pervaded all things.
Such is the outpouring of His grace
that the pen is stilled
and the tongue is speechless.
~ Baháʼu'lláh
