Emptiness

Emptiness

...carves our existence from our love.

Don't waste another day
trying to convince me,
trying to convince yourself
there is only one right way.

God does not care
how you got there,
only that you go there.

But I'm not suggesting
the end justifies
any means.

Rumi told me,
we carve our existence
from our love
for the emptiness.

One day the emptiness
will again appear on the horizon.

This is when
your suffering ends,
and your soul
is set free.

Praise to the emptiness that blanks out existence...
Praise to that happening, over and over!
~ Rumi
