Should I Be Worried?

Should I Be Worried?

Nope. My soul's on duty.

I just woke up
and right away I go
gettin' all worked up,
blockin' the flow of energy,
tryin' to silence the spirit voices
now singing sweetly to me.

They call to my soul,
but I tell them he's not home.

They call again,
and I refuse to answer.

They call again,
so I shoo them away.

How many times
can I refuse these holy spirits
before they quit calling?

Then my soul declares:

The spirits haven't gone anywhere.
They're right here with me.

Sometimes I'm more stubborn than I am smart.
