As I Understand
As I Understand
...God.
I know you
can see it clearly,
but I don't want to be
reminded I am not God.
Sometimes I like to forget
and go about my day
as if I had total control,
always knowing exactly
just what to do.
I have several ways
of setting myself straight,
the most effective of which
is to recall someone I don't like,
and then to remember God
has no problem loving them.
