Where do you go?
Good morning intrepid wanders!
Care to tell us about your romp through
the bizarre flora and fauna of the jungle,
the strange insects and burping reptiles,
the old hardwoods and ancient ferns,
the desolate but wide open, arid spaces,
the jagged, rocky, merciless mountains,
the soulless paved highways and byways,
with their endless streams of honking cars,
driven by busybodies and the barely conscious,
until finally, you arrived back at the front door
of a well-known spot called mine, ours, theirs,
which is filled with your all-too-familiar stuff,
perhaps even a few faces you may fancy,
but of course here is your most favorite place,
a comfy space to lay your spinning head
where you dream about all those things spilling
right out of your pockets and into the dark...?
