The Beginning After the End

It’s not my job to point out problems.
Others are much kinder about it.
Besides, most people know
when something’s wrong.

Great teachers have taught me,
any change of mind
is first a change of heart.

So I went to one of those places
where the humbled gather
to swap their war stories
and make a brand new start.

I drowned a thousand times
before I learned to build bridges.

Transformed people transform people.
Richard Rohr

This is one of Brian’s new poems, written on March 25, 2023. While taking a walk, it dawned on me that it’s not my job to point out everything that’s wrong in this world. Go figure!
