Trying

Aren't we all?

Because life is trying
I'm often trying,
while I'm also trying my best
to be a loving person.

I've tried this.
I've tried that.
Of all the things I've tried,
it's my trying less
which seems to work the best.

A possible epitaph:

Herein lies
one who tried and tried
but has now let go
and gone with the flow.
