There Too

...is the real you.

Drink water
because you are water.

Don't go to the mirror.
You won't see yourself.

Close your eyes.
Sit in that yawning chasm
of your true being.

Time spent resting will add
purpose to your doing.

Seeing, being, breathing,
are more of everything
than we allow them to be.

Get to know the emptiness
in the space between raindrops;
in the silence between notes.

You are there too.
