Here and Now
Where else?
You are who you are.
I am who I am.
There's no need
for us to become
anyone else.
The angels
waiting on the border
between here and there,
warned me against
clinging to my life
as too precious,
or using death
as an easy excuse
for not showing up
to my life.
At my best,
I am present
to who I truly am,
and also to whom
others already are.
Don't cling to anything and don't reject anything.
