Optimism

Optimism

...dwells within humility.

There is an ocean
within the ocean,
which is the best way
to describe my optimism.

Inside of everything
is something still deeper
and tugging at us,
first through our mother's love,
and then through life
in that ravenous appetite
of our Universe
forever giving birth
to itself.

I find solace
knowing where I stand
lacks any permanency
and how woefully limited
is my imagination
of what will become.
