The Eternal Journey
The Eternal Journey
...I've always been seeking.
I don't know
if it was always so,
but it seems as though
you and I will only grow
through finding meaning
in our human being.
I was married once
but to no avail,
so I married again
while out on that trail
which leads beyond
all understanding.
Now my day begins,
and will just as soon end
with that same old prayer
for peace and safekeeping,
along this eternal journey
I've always been seeking.
The feeling remains that God is on the journey,
too.
