Do Bother

Do Bother

...to relax your routine.

I hear a voice say:

Don't bother me
I'm working.

It echoes.

Hmmmm...
sounds familiar.

I look away from my work
realizing it must be my voice.

So I stop what I am doing
and now I want to know,
to whom am I speaking?

Pray thee, spare, thyself at times:
for it becomes a wise man
sometimes to relax the high pressure
of his attention to work.
~ Thomas Aquinas
