It's time for a change.

It's time for a change.

Ain't that an understatement‽

Dear Reader,

With some sadness, today I announce the forthcoming end of Brian's Poem of the Day. The last email you will receive in your inbox will arrive August 31, 2020. Thank you so much for your support these past four years.

The project I called Brian's Poem of the Day began on July 23, 2016. At the outset I really didn't know what to expect or how long it would last. At first I simply hoped to get through the end of the month. Later I thought perhaps a year. And if you had asked me more recently, I would tell you that my goal was to make it to ten years.

Nonetheless, the time has come for me to turn the page and to slow the production of my writing. I continue to fill notebooks with my poems, but now I hope to be a little more selective in those I choose to publish as I spend more time rewriting and editing them.

It's hard to share this news with my daily readers. Some of you joined me more recently and others have been along for the ride since the beginning. Regardless, I hope you've enjoyed my poetry and know that there are three (soon to be four) volumes of Brian's Poem of the Day available.

Please know this isn't goodbye, but until we meet again. And I hope you won't mind the occasional email from me with a poem or announcement of a new collection. I expect you'll keep in touch too, with news from your life and activities.

If you've been on a spiritual journey with me, keep on going. (That's what I'm planning to do.)

Wishing you health and happiness!

With love,

Brian

Until we meet again,
may the good Lord take a liking to you.
